NCA staff members serve as an integral part of your design team, working with project managers, architects, landscape architects, and engineers to ensure access and universal design are considered from the very beginning.

Public Meeting Facilitation

Inviting input from the public with disabilities is an essential step in ensuring your proposed plans are effective for the end user. Public participation both advances your design and helps your agency build strong connections within the community. NCA facilitates these public meetings and helps you build your accessibility network.

Technical Assistance

The NCA staff provides personalized technical assistance on a broad range of issues. Drawing on a national network, NCA responds to requests for information with the latest trends and the most current information on accessibility standards, rulemaking, program modifications, equipment, best practices, and innovative solutions.

We help you evaluate specific accessibility issues, figure out which standards apply to your situation, provide guidance on program modifications, and direct you to external resources.
